Today’s speaker in the Biology Colloquium series is Dr. Erica Rosenblum, with the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology at the University of California Berkeley. Dr. Rosenblum will present her research on “Speciation and extinction in changing environments” — her work includes studies of the chytrid fungus that has devastated wild amphibian populations, and the parallel adaptation of desert lizards to ensure camouflage in a white gypsum sand dune environment.

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
