This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Dr. Seemay Chou, from the University of California, San Francisco. Chou studies animal-microbe interactions at the molecular level, with a focus on vector-borne disease. The seminar will discuss Dr. Chou’s recent work with the deer tick, Ixodes scapularis, which transmits the bacteria that causes Lyme Disease.
The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
