This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Dr. Morgan Pratchett from the ARC Research Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia. Pratchett studies coral reef ecology, the biology and systematics of butterflyfishes, and the invasive crown-of-thorns starfish. His presentation will be titled “Causes and consequences of coral loss and habitat degradation on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef”.

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
