The Microbiology Student Association will host Aspen Reese for their second special seminar of the semester tomorrow, March 12, from noon to 1pm. Dr. Reese is an Assistant Professor in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution at UC San Diego, studying "how microbes shape us and how we shape microbes." Her seminar will be entitled, "The gut microbiome: Insights from and implications for evolution."
Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this seminar will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation via this meeting link, with passcode MSA2021. (Following the link may prompt the installation of the Zoom app in order to display video.)
