This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series launches will be presented by Harlan Jones, an Associate Professor of Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics and the Director of the Center for Diversity and International Programs at the University of North Texas. Dr. Jones studies immune and inflammatory responses in the lungs, including immune responses that can prevent lung tumors from spreading to other organs. His seminar will be titled “Harnessing the immune system to prevent lung tumor metastasis”.
