The Spring 2025 Biology Colloquium Series begins this Friday with a seminar by Gabrielle Names, Assistant Professor of Biology at California Lutheran University. Dr. Names studies the molecular basis of birds’ physiological adaptation to varying climate conditions across latitudes and at different altitudes. Her talk will be titled, “Variation in passerine body size and telomere length across environmental gradients”.
Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122.
