Colloquium: Takahashi on the regulatory role of small RNAs

The Fall 2024 Biology Colloquium Series continues Friday with a seminar by CSUN Assistant Professor of Biology Melissa Takahashi. Dr. Takahashi studies the role of RNA in gene regulation, particularly in bacteria. Her talk will present recent work from her lab, titled, “New insights into the small RNA MicF and learning to defend against it”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122. Dr. Takahashi will be available after the seminar to meet with students during a “Meet the Speaker” reception, with light refreshments, in Chaparral Hall 5201.
