Colloquium: Borkovich on the dynamism of cells’ interior “skeleton”

The Fall 2024 Biology Colloquium Series continues Friday with a seminar by Katherine Borkovich, Professor of Microbiology and Plant Pathology at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Borkovich studies the functional genomics and molecular biology of filamentous fungi, which include numerous pathogenic species. Her talk will be titled, “Harnessing environmental sensing pathways in multicellular fungi for production of biofuels”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122. Dr. Borkovich will be available after the seminar to meet with students during a “Meet the Speaker” reception, with light refreshments, in Chaparral Hall 5201.
