This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Melanie Murphy, Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Wyoming. Murphy, who is visiting campus as a guest of the Behavior, Ecology, and Evolution Reading Club, studies population genetics and community ecology in a geographic context, examining how movement across natural and human-altered landscapes shape the diversity and viability of populations, species, and biological communities. Her seminar will be titled "From genes to landscapes – distribution and connectivity of species in a changing world"
The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
