Colloquium: Ludt on the geographic distribution of fish diversity

The Fall 2023 Biology Colloquium Series resumes this Friday with a seminar by William Ludt, Assistant Curator of Ichthyology at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Dr. Ludt studies the diversity of marine fishes, especially their morphology and biogeography. His talk will be titled, “Missing in the middle: Examining how anti-tropical distributions form in marine fishes”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122. Dr. Ludt will be available after the seminar to meet with students during a “Meet the Speaker” reception, with light refreshments, in Chaparral Hall 5201.
